This listing is for the photographed Ethiopian Welo Opal Ring - Size 9. This beautiful ring stamped "FJ" contains a Ethiopian Welo opal in it's center. Ethiopian Welo opals were discovered in 2008 in the Wello province. Before this 95% of opals came from Australia. These opals are less expensive than those found in Australia despite their higher weight. These particular opals are believed to symbolize hope, renewal, and creativity.
