A flash from the past; silver fetish beads, the animals are turtles, fish, bears, birds and frogs. There are 20 total bead charms, often referred to as fetish beads or fetish charms. The fetishes are mold cast, and heavy. Since there are no sterling stamps (casting generally does not allow for a stamp) we tested them and they are positive for sterling silver. They have no hallmark, so while we can't say for certain that they are Native American, we believe they are Zuni. The last photo includes a dime for a size reference.
They are absolutely adorable and, again, have weight to them. The silver has a beautiful, kind of dark patina, and if you prefer I will be happy to give it a light polish.
